Taman sari is located at west of Jogjakarta sultan palace and still the scope fort palace. The name of Taman Sari interpreted by some people as a beautiful garden and enchanting. Taman Sari is a water castle formerly used for recreation, rest house and a bastion for the Sultan, His queen and family Kraton Jogjakarta. Seen from around there is a Hallway under the ground, a pond for bathing which is equipped with a place to change clothes. Space room used for dancing, kitchens and kind.

This historic building began to be established in the mid-eighteenth century. Castle built the reign of Sultan Hamengku Buwono I.
